About Me and My Practice
I am a registered psychologist and have been a sole practitioner in private practice for more than 25 years.
I use a strengths-based approach in my counselling work, utilising Narrative, Solution-Focused, and motivational interviewing therapies, with an emphasis on the development of personal agency. It is my view that people have the personal resources to find solutions to the problems that confront them. I work in a collaborative way to assist in this process.
I work primarily with older children and adolescents, and their families. I also provide external professional supervision for various health and education counsellors, and students.
