About Me and My Practice
In 1990, I traveled to Poona, India in pursuit of exploring meditation and on finding “Osho Commune International” I discovered much more..... an 'alternative multiversity' for many types of therapy and bodywork. I commenced a three month (600 hour) training in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine (called 'Divine Healing'). The following year I returned and did the training again as an assistant and in 1991 set up business in Dunedin as a Shiatsu practitioner. In 1995, I completed a certificate in sports massage in Auckland, and in 1995 and 1997 trained in foot reflexology in Poona, India.
So twenty years on (2010), I am still massaging and have a good client base with mostly returning clients. I also welcome new clients. I work from home and give a thorough session. Treatments help relax tight and sore muscles, relieve neck, back and shoulder tension, increase movement to joints, improve internal organ functions, vitalise energy, invigorate tissue, and improve many ailments, e.g headaches, depression, general fatigue, etc.
Practice Hours– I work in Dunedin Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and some Saturdays from 7.30am-6pm.
– I also work at Karitane on Wednesdays and weekends.
