About Me and My Practice

I trained as a doctor at The Otago Medical School and then worked in hospitals at Palmerston North, Hamilton, and London before coming back to General Practice in Dunedin. I began working at Port Chalmers in 1993 and in 2001 moved to work at Broadway Medical Centre.

I love General Practice and consider myself very privileged to be able to work in a job that provides so much variety and contact with people. I have recently begun to teach at the Otago Medical School and find this really complements the work I do at Broadway Medical Centre. I really don’t have any particular speciality in General Practice but enjoy it all. I have postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics, Geriatrics, and Paediatrics which help me to care for families from the beginning to the end of life.
