About Me and My Practice

I am the Director and Principal Physiotherapist of Physio Performance. I have 18 years of experience in the private physiotherapy sector. My areas of interest include sporting injuries, muscle balance assessments, and rehabilitative ultrasound imagery. Physio Performance prides itself on quality treatment from experienced physiotherapists. We have vast experience in hands-on therapy including manipulation, mobilisation, and massage. Other modalities used include rehabilitative ultrasound imaging, acupuncture, dry needling, and exercise prescription. Our area of uniqueness at the clinic is the use of rehabilitative ultrasound imaging for viewing of pelvic muscles and imaging during exercise to view correct muscle activation. New and regular clients at Physio Performance receive quality, professional care with specific and comprehensive treatment and service.

Additional Information

Being a physiotherapist at the Beijing Olympic games and acting as lead physiotherapist for Athletics NZ has enabled me to apply my learned knowledge to the day to day running of the practice, and has meant high standards of treatment and care.

My physiotherapists working at Physio Performance are Gail Hyland, Patrick Mahoney, Vicky Clarke-Joyce, and Arnie Hooson. They are all experienced and have either completed or are completing postgraduate physiotherapy qualifications.

We look forward to be able to assist you in reaching full physical potential in the way of movement, strength, flexibility, and function.
