About Me and My Practice
The clinic is at 75 Campbells Rd, Pine Hill, Dunedin. Clients have a one-hour consultation on the first visit, and all aspects of their health concerns are discussed. We cover history, diet and lifestyle, stressors, medication regimes, and various diagnostic methods are used, including pulse and tongue diagnosis. If appropriate, an herbal medicine will be formulated at the time of consultation, mixed to meet the unique needs of each client. Nutritional supplements may be suggested, and possible bodywork modalities will be discussed if required.
Personal philosophy: Living in optimal health is my work and my passion, and this is what I teach my clients to achieve. I see myself as a guide and resource for them, and do everything I can to assist their process towards greater wellbeing, whether that is in their energy levels, immune function, or their goals for themselves.
I believe the capacity of the body to heal is as yet not fully appreciated or understood, but that it involves the mind and emotions as well as the physical body. The foundation of natural medicine is that, given the chance, the body will heal itself. I aim to assist my clients in giving themselves that chance.
