About Me and My Practice
I am a naturopathic practitioner. I specialise in nutritional medicine and pride myself on providing a warm, supportive, and responsive service. I graduated with a degree in health sciences from the Australian College of Natural Medicine where I lived for six years before moving back to New Zealand.
I believe passionately in the practice of integrative medicine. As such, my approach to wellness incorporates traditional diagnostic tools (iridology and tongue analysis) as well as more modern techniques, such as blood tests and bioimpedance analysis (BIA).
I use both nutritional and herbal medicines as part of my treatment approach, with a strong understanding of interactions between natural and pharmaceutical medicine due to both regular study and working in a large pharmacy in Australia for four years. This means that I am able to effectively and safely support individuals currently on prescription medication, and I have worked in conjunction with General Practitioners (GPs) for the benefit of the patient.
I have a special interest in children's health, mental illness, stress, and gastrointestinal disorders. I have also had positive results with a range of other conditions including autoimmune disease, reproductive ailments, men's health, and weight management. My focus on optimum health and wellness has extended to supporting athletes as well.
