About Me and My Practice
I gained my Diploma in Aromatherapy/Massage in Perth, Western Australia in 1998. I then ran my own business there for several years, including clinic work at two of Perth's leading holistic health centres. I returned to my home town of Dunedin in 2004 and am the first Reiki Master to introduce Tera-Mai Reiki Seichem to New Zealand.
Within my practice I offer a range of holistic bodywork therapies incorporating Aromatherapy Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, and Indian Head Massage with vibrational/energy therapies such as Reiki, Bush Flower Essences, and Vibrational Aromatherapy. The aim is to allow the individual to regain balanced well-being on all levels, assisting self-healing. Each client has a thorough consultation initially, and all consultations and treatments are tailored to meet individual needs. Reiki in particular is a completely safe modality to incorporate with other treatments, especially those involving medication use.
I also have extensive experience providing care and healing to clients with both physical and intellectual disabilities, both in Australia and New Zealand.

I have facilitated and attended many workshops in the areas of health, creativity and spirituality, and feel passionate about continuing to expand my knowledge and understanding in order to assist my clients to the best of my ability.
In 2010 I intend to study The Mace Method, a powerful new therapy for emotional healing developed by Australian John Mace.
I have practised meditation for over 30 years and I believe the art of relaxation to be crucial to well-being. I also have qualifications and background in visual art practise and management. I am currently leading a meditation evening every Tuesday 7pm-8pm suitable for beginners and experienced meditators - all are welcome (this is not a course, and there is no formal charge, however a koha is appreciated).
In Western Australia I was a volunteer practitioner for the WA Aids Council, providing therapy for clients living with HIV/AIDS.
