About Me and My Practice

During the years I taught various creativity activities to people, while listening to their talk, I heard the emotions behind their words.

Teaching Tai Chi Chuan, I observed my students' body language and how they coped with the challenge of something new and different.

My affinity with the natural world lead me to my nine year course of study with the International Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, giving me a deeper understanding of the world of which I am part.

Various challenges in my life journey lead me to learn energy understandings such as Reiki and Magnetic Healing.

All these things I have learned and experienced up to this point in time have made me who I am, but I will always be the student as well as the teacher, that is the nature of Life as I perceive it. All these understandings are what I use to help others on their journeys.

Change and healing come from within ourselves. All the ideas, physical practices, meditation, etc. are tools to help us and support us to find the answers we seek.

I am willing to share my knowledge to support empowerment, personal growth, and spiritual awareness. Only a person who is willing to help themselves to heal or change is someone I can assist to facilitate personal growth.

Because of my natural gift of creativity, I have done a workshop on Art Therapy to expand on my own observations and experiences.

At the time of beginning to learn Tai Chi Chuan, I did a course on Magnetic Healing which expanded my understanding of Chi/energy in the body.

My affinity with the natural world lead me to study Permaculture, Organic Gardening, Healing of the micro and macro climate, and the Holistic Healing of the Planet, our home, plus the inter-connectiveness of every thing with the living Planet.

I apply my knowledge of healing to the Mineral, Plant, and Animal (Insects, Fish, Birds, and Animals) kingdoms, not just the humans.

Additional Information

I am an artist; I have a gift to create something from a thought, be it a drawing, a sculpture in various mediums, a garden, or a labyrinth.

Thoughts Become Things.

Everything in the Universe is created from energy (chi) subject to the Lore of the Creation circle. The one constant in the Universe is change. My Tai Chi Chuan and Pa Kua Chuan practice is one of the manifestations of this understanding in my life. I share this practice by giving Tai Chi classes on Tuesday nights, 7-9 pm, at the Kaikorai College Maslin Gym during the school year. I teach Old Yang-style along with Qi gong, push hands, and paired work.

Creating Labyrinths is another thing I enjoy doing, be it painting them on stones to be traced with a finger or making them in someone's garden to be walked. A Labyrinth is a physical symbol of a spiritual journey.

During my Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids course of study, I created a New Zealand Tree Ogham, which I share with fellow Obods and my friends. I have expanded the Ogham into an Oracle, which I am in the process of finishing. One day I hope to publish it and share it with everyone.

I respect the right of every sentient being and the planet to fulfill their life's purpose; their right to make their own choices and accept responsibility for those choices as long as they cause no intentional hurt to others and the planet.
