About Me and My Practice

I am an Occupational Therapist at RATA South Ltd, including RATA Kids & Headstart. RATA South is a private community-based allied health rehabilitation team. Our services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapy, Community Nurses, and Clinical Psychology.

I particularly enjoy working with children and young people to develop the skills they require for the childhood occupations of home, school, and play.

RATA Kids is the children and young peoples branch of our service. We are able to provide private therapy for a wide range of difficulties children may be experiencing, including physical development, self-care skills, equipment to assist at home or school, handwriting, and transition to new schooling. For more information, please see www.ratasouth.co.nz.

The 'Head Start' programme works with all children in small groups to develop the foundation skills required for learning. These include development of the senses, motor development, language skills, and auditory & visual skills. 45 minute sessions run weekly from 350 South Road. For more information, please see www.headstart.net.nz
