About Me and My Practice

I gained my Bachelor of Optometry in 1986, following in the footsteps of my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather in the Optometry field.

After graduating, I worked in Christchurch for two years for a practice which specialized in children with reading disabilities. Following this, I gained experience working in Australia and the United Kingdom before returning to New Zealand and joining my father's practice in 1991.

I continue to work alongside my father in our Moray Place practice, Visique Peter Dick Optometrists. Our practice also extends to Mosgiel, where I regularly meet with clients at our Optometry rooms on Glasgow Street.

We particularly specialize in contact lenses but also have a wide selection of frames, sunglasses, and eye care essentials.

Practice Hours

Appointments are normally available in our Dunedin rooms Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with Saturday morning appointments by request.

Appointments on 489 2013 for Mosgiel are made by our Dunedin team. The Mosgiel rooms are open part time during the week when the Optometrist is there for appointments.

Our prices and duration of appointment vary depending on the treatment received.
