About Me and My Practice
In 1988, I began apprenticeship-style individualised training in psychodynamic psychotherapy with Mr. Harold Bernhardt, BA, MA, ANZPsS, MNZAP, Senior Psychologist at Ashburn Hall, and Senior Lecturer at the Otago School of Medicine. After completing this initial training, I entered private practice at the Albany Street Centre, where I remained until leaving Dunedin in November 2009. I now operate a part-time counselling practice in beautiful Hampden, North Otago, where my wife and I live in blissful semi-retirement. I am registered as a Family Court Counsellor.
Duration and CostThe standard fee is $80.00 per 50 minute session. However, eligible individuals my apply for funding assistance through WINZ or ACC, and all couples may apply for six sessions free with Family Court funding.
